Home Centre is synonymous with innovative quality home ware. The family-owned and operated business has an enviable longevity since our humble beginnings in 1955. We have cemented the status as a leader in the competitive home ware market. We use to supply the hawker trade - also known as country boy's - who use to buy and sell inland in small quantities, covering vast areas within south Africa. In the late 90's when South Africa opened its borders to the world, foreigners from Africa and the far east introduced shop's inland. Trade slowly died due to this, however in 2004 a visionary was brought in to transform the business and introduce a new form of retail, the likes of which South Africa hadn't seen before.
