1. BUSINESS PROFILE - MAZALARI VENTURES LIMITED MAZALARI VENTURES LIMITED was established and registered on 16th June, 2014 under certificate of Incorporation (Section 15) number 13700. The company is an offshoot of Feltons General Enterprise which was established as a joint venture in June 1996 and registered as a business on certificate number 30698 under the Companies Act 1984. Mission and Objectives The mission of the corporation is to provide high quality service and delivery to our customers in a sustainable manner, even within limited means and a hostile economic environment. Mazalari Ventures Limited runs its business operations efficiently and strictly on commercial lines with the objective of making profits. Nature of Business The principal activity of the company/corporation is acquisition and supply of various Personal Protective Wear and Equipment to Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) as well as government ministries, departments and agencies including other firms with businesses in Malawi and beyond. Besides, the firm is also involved in the procurement and supply of Technical Equipment, Office and school Furniture, Carpentry and Joinery materials and school/hospital beds and laboratory glassware, chemicals and equipment. We have supplied school furniture, i.e. tables, desks and chairs to Ministry of Education Science and Technology. The firm recently supplied Personal Protective Clothing and medical Equipment to the Ministry Health under contract number 031/SW/G/12PPE/2013-14. Size of Venture The business has a full time manager, assisted by six people. Total number of employees is one hundred and twenty (120) but increasing with demand. It is a family business jointly owned by a husband, wife, brothers and children who are the major shareholders.
