The idea was concieved from the low income farmers gets from labour intensive growing on maize. So a suggestion was made if peasant farmers could switch into growing soya beans,yes high labour intensity but good turnover.So instead of selling soya beans,we thought could.do value addition by producing cooking and animal feed. Currently a commercial piece of Land was secured (bought at a cost of K185,000) seated on title (5,000sqm) but currently looking for capital to secure machinery which will.give 8,000 to 10,000ltrs per day. With this,peasant famers around lumfyanyama 's lives will be turned around including their households and children. This will be a game changer to so many families as the business will not only looks to guve good prices but to empower farmers at individual levels..prices for their produce will be attractive to remunerate their hard working and labour. The entire business will look forward once in operational to expand level of assistance to entire lamba land.
