Batman Batteries prides itself on integrity, technical knowledge, finest products, owner-driven business, diligence & concern. We confine our business to just batteries, in which technical ability we excel. However, along with testing batteries, we test for parasitic-drain and also just test alternators & voltage-regulators at no charge - this is a free service to the community, with no obligations to purchase anything : we refer people to a qualified auto-electrician with a 1st-class reputation in the event that the problem is not (primarily) the battery, as there is no point in replacing a battery if that is not going to resolve the problem. We stock, amongst others, RAYLITE batteries, as fitted in South Africa by all vehicle factories. We are proud to say that we do NOT have second-hand batteries for sale, as we test, firstly - at no cost to the motorist, in a transparent manner while explaining the purpose of the test & what we need to be assured that a battery is fit-for-purpose. In the decades that I have been running the Battery Centre, I have never had any warranty-claim refused by our franchisor, so I have every confidence that, when I proclaim a battery to be a technical reject, I shall be backed by our factory; this translates into as close to instant review & processing of anything that fails (usually, 24 hours of charging & testing). Safe motoring out there : we still kill & maim far too many people on our roads - and all for the sake of saving 2 minutes on a 1/2-hour journey !
