Specialist Ear, Nose & Throat Surgeon Dr WB Zieciak is an ENT surgeon practicing in Durban at both the Parklands Medical Centre and the Entabeni Hospital ENT Centre. His practices offer comprehensive cover of all ear, nose and throat problems. Dr Zieciak has a keen interest and experience in pediatric ENT conditions. He is also involved in the Durban Cochlear Implant Programme and is a member of the South African Cochlear Implant Group. He has a teaching sessional appointment at the Nelson Mandela Medical School, and at Albert Luthuli tertiary teaching Hospital associated with the University of KZN where his duties include the teaching of specialists-in-training and medical students. He has attended several international courses and congresses including courses in Ear and Cochlear Implant Surgery as well as Advanced Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. Dr Zieciak qualified at the Internationally acclaimed and respected University of Gdansk, Poland where he obtained his MD Degree. His specialist training was initially at the N.Copernicus Hospital in Olsztyn, Poland and then at the University of KZN where he completed his Master of Medicine degree in Otolaryngology.
