At Kurus English our programmes and tuition encourage the language learner to become a clear, global communicator: fluent and confident in the communicative use of English for international purposes. Kurus English awaits you within the central business, historical and cultural districts of Cape Town – in sight of Table Mountain and close to the sea. Our school is handsomely housed in a National Heritage Building; a beautiful and entirely appropriate home and setting for any language-learning endeavour. In addition to our classroom-based communication classes, Kurus English offers out-of-school, experiential communication classes. These are language-learning opportunities, promoted through the lens of culture and occasions for language discovery. These outdoor-classes are what we call, Language Excursions, during which your experienced teachers will become your ‘language guides` – assisting and guiding you in your interactions and in your communication. At Kurus English, each lesson is of 50 minutes’ duration, with a maximum of 8 students per class in six different English levels (Beginner to Advanced). Kurus English is a small, private Language School with 5 classrooms and a maximum capacity of 40 students.
