Plant Culture is primarily a tree Nursery situated in the scenic Boland wine land area of Somerset West and Stellenbosch, only 25 minutes from Cape Town. Located on two farms off the R310 and Vlaeberg roads we are ideally positioned as a convenient supplier to the Cape Town surrounds. (see map in Contact Details) Our nursery offers a varied selection of both large mature trees and shrubs, these all suited to the Western Cape's unique conditions and all grown within the lacal climate. Established in 1998, we offer a vast knowledge on what will work and grow in your area, while our trees, are grown in containers thus ready for planting all year round. Our stock is grow from seed and cuttings, collected from exisitng stock or local landscaping established plants. Offering a unique supply in a planting service or for the D.I.Y enthusiast in just supply, we will endevour to find a solution to your requirments. Our range is not only just trees but a large selection of shrubs where home gardeners can design and install their own gardens. Should you already have a design, idea or landscape contractor we will happily cater to your needs and grow specific plants for your project. Whats more is if you have a new garden and want some advise, we are happy to assist with some landscaping and irrigation installations, this in the experienced and qualified guidance of Scott Hogg our landscaping designer (more about him click above). Basic design and practical aspects include visual tree and hedge screening together with suitable soil and wind sustainable landscaping. So whether its, large mature trees, shrubs, design or advise on landscaping or irrigation, we are there to offer you a solution. We sell to both the general public and commercial green industry. As many retail nurseries fall short in stocking larger plants our unique supply offers a valuable and necessary service.
