Galino House Substance Use Disorder Facility has been established primarily due to a dire need for effective drug and alcohol addiction treatment in the Free State and Northern Cape. The clinical experience collaborated into it ensures a centre driven towards best professional and excellent comprehensive care for its patients. Galino House treats drug, alcohol and behaviour addiction as an illness and is based on the Minnesota model of treatment (12 steps), we have a multi-disciplinary team in place to allow for excellence of care based on evidence based standards of practise. Our therapeutic team carries numerous years of experience within this very specific field. The facility itself is set in the beautiful and upmarket area of Heuwelsig, Bloemfontein , Free State. It offers tranquillity and the idyllic setting necessary to facilitate a recovery process. We believe in treating the illness in three main aspects namely mind, body and spirit. Through this our main aim is to see people attain recovery allowing for freedom from active addiction and a restoration to a productive life within all aspects.
